Ascended Heroes — Rarity and Product Formats

Compare this expansion's card designs, exact product formats and current listings. Opening results vary; no numeric pull rates are presented without an attributable sample for the relevant language and product.

What Makes Ascended Heroes Special

Released on January 30, 2026, Ascended Heroes broke records as the largest English Pokemon TCG set ever printed. With 295 cards in the master set and 78 secret rares, it dwarfs previous sets in both scope and chase card density. The set introduces Mega Attack Rares — a brand-new rarity tier featuring Mega Evolution Pokemon with dynamic full-bleed artwork. The Mega Evolution theme gives the set a nostalgic edge for collectors who grew up with the XY era while delivering modern production quality. Between the sheer volume of secret rares and the new rarity tier, Ascended Heroes demands a different approach than recent sets. Understanding the pull rates before you buy is more important here than in any set before it.

Complete Pull Rate Breakdown

Pull rates vary by expansion, language, product and print run. We do not have an attributable opening sample for this rate, so no numeric odds or expected hits are quoted here. A smaller checklist does not establish the probability of a particular card. Random packs do not guarantee a specific rarity or card; choose singles when you want an exact card.

Comparing Specific Card Values

Compare recent completed sales for the exact card number, printing, language, condition and grade. Asking prices and unsourced historical figures are not current valuations. Demand and prices can fall, and sale fees, grading, shipping and storage can reduce any proceeds. Choose cards you enjoy within a budget you can afford.

ETBs vs Singles — What's the Smarter Buy?

For an exact card, compare its current single-card listing with your pack-opening budget. Sealed packs offer a random opening experience, while a single identifies the card and condition before purchase. Compare current product price and verified pack count to calculate cost per pack; spending more does not guarantee the card you want.

Tips for UAE Collectors

If you are collecting Ascended Heroes in the UAE, here is the practical advice. Buy singles for your chase cards — the maths overwhelmingly favours it at SIR and Mega Attack Rare tiers. If you want the pack-ripping experience, an ETB or a few booster packs gives you a solid taste of the set without overcommitting. Store and protect your pulls immediately — UAE humidity and heat can damage cards quickly, so sleeve everything and keep your collection in an air-conditioned room. Shop at Apex Vault for competitive AED pricing on Ascended Heroes singles with free shipping across the UAE on orders of AED 150 or more. Whether you are chasing Mega Gengar, building a binder of Illustration Rares, or just want to experience the largest Pokemon set ever made, there has never been a better time to collect in the UAE.
