Illustration Rare (IR) cards feature unique artistic interpretations of Pokemon by guest illustrators. These cards showcase Pokemon in creative scenes and styles that differ from standard card art — from peaceful landscapes to action-packed battles. IRs are highly collectible due to their artistic merit and relative scarcity, making them a favourite among collectors who appreciate card art as much as rarity.
